Pignoletto is a typical local wine and can be considered the local champagne, even if it is produced also in a still version.
It is a very fresh wine, pale straw yellow colour, slightly mineral with an orange note and grapefruit and apricot hints, a dry, mellow flavour with a persistent finish of floral sensations.
To be consumed young, at a temperature of 5/6 °C and to be paired with spring and summer dishes, especially fish meals, ideal as an aperitif.
